Sunday Supper
Celebrate the revival of a local heirloom, the Bodega Red Potato, first grown on the Sonoma Coast in the 1840s. Special guest Elissa Rubin-Mahon will share the story of how this nearly extinct potato was re-established as a local, specialty crop.
Join us for the August Sunday Supper at SHED and enjoy the rich potato flavor and fine texture of Bodega Reds prepared by SHED chef Niki Ford. Celebrate our region's diverse agricultural history and our dedication to saving endangered foods.
Menu: Antipasto: Summer Vegetables Sott'Olio Prosciutto and Bodega Red Potato chips with rosemary Bodega Red Potato and Roasted Garlic Cannelloni with Basil Pesto Cherry Tomatoes and Lettuces Baked Pink Pearl Apples with Dried Fruit and Creme Fraiche YUM!
The Sunday Supper Series is a monthly community dinner featuring local farmers, winemakers and visiting chefs. Celebrating good farming, good cooking and good eating, dinner is served family style and seating is casual, so come with your family, bring a neighbor, and make new friends!
Wine, beer and non-alchoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
