Chelsea (Krombach) Packard: One Night Only: Story of My Life

Dennis F. Johnson is a Milwaukee-based director, producer, and theatre founder. Local audiences may know his work from projects he worked on with theatres such as Renaissance Theaterworks, Chamber Theatre, American Players Theater, and UPROOTED theatre( of which he is a founding member). He could not be more proud to be able to produce this cabaret for a woman who is not only a phenomenal performer, but a great friend.
Chelsea Packard's one night only concert: The Story of My Life is an event not to be missed. It will be an evening of musical theatre songs and jazz standards performed in Chelsea's unique style. Those that have seen Chelsea perform before will be glad to see that the little girl with the big voice has grown into a seasoned Broadway performer. Those that have never seen her perform will wonder how they hadn't seen her before. She will take you on the musical journey of her life on the stage: from her first ever role as a munchkin in THE WIZARD OF OZ in the 4th grade, to her gravity defying turn as Elphaba in the Broadway production of WICKED, and beyond! The concert weaves together songs and stories from her life as a Broadway actress and jazz songstress - a perfect opportunity for Chelsea to sing from her two favorite genres in one night! It has been a long time since Chelsea has dazzled a stage in Milwaukee - don't miss this rare chance to see her!
Chelsea will be backed by some amazing Wisconsin talent. Milwaukee favorite, Richard Carsey, heads the music serving as Musical Director and pianist. Tom McGirr will be on bass, and Mike Underwood will be drumming. Special guest Jason Gillette will play on a few tunes on saxophone. Chelsea will be accompanied vocally by some of Milwaukee's leading voice talents: Raven Dockery, Rana Roman, and Kendall Yorkey. The show will take place at Next Act Theatre (255 South Water Street) in Milwaukee's fifth ward at 7:00. There is free onsite parking.
