Red House Live from Landmark Center - Heather Masse Concert
Landmark Center's popular concert series "Red House Live" returns for the third year at the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at St. Paul's historic Landmark Center. Hosted by various local radio personalities, these concerts will begin at 8 pm and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy free food from Trotter's Cafe and mingle with both DJ and musicians. Tickets include admission to the cocktail hour.
Singer-songmaker Heather Masse is a rare artist with "lush velvety vocals, capable of melting butter in a Siberian winter" (All Music). She grew up in rural Maine and was trained at the New England Conservatory of Music as a jazz singer, she is steeped in the jazz tradition, which informs her distinct approach to singing folk, pop and bluegrass. A member of the Billboard-charting folk supergroup The Wailin' Jennys, Ms. Masse has performed at the top venues, sharing the stage with the world's most acclaimed pop, classical and jazz acts, including Elvis Costello, k.d. lang, Wynton Marsalis, Sheryl Crow, Mark O'Connor's Hot Jazz and the Boston Pops Orchestra. She has been a frequent guest on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion, both as a solo performer and as a member of The Jennys. Her most recent release on Red House Records, Lock My Heart, a collaboration with jazz piano legend Dick Hyman has the jazz world abuzz.
All tickets are general admission. If you have any special seating needs or requests, please call 651-292-3063 and we will do our best to accommodate them.
