Red House Live from Landmark Center - Meg Hutchinson Concert
Landmark Center's popular concert series "Red House Live" returns for the third year at the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at St. Paul's historic Landmark Center. Hosted by various local radio personalities, these concerts will begin at 8 pm and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy free food from Trotter's Cafe and mingle with both DJ and musicians. Tickets include admission to the cocktail hour. The piano for the Meg Hutchinson concert is generously donated by Wells Pianos.
Meg Hutchinson is an award-winning songwriter who artfully documents the human condition. With a poet's ease, she makes the personal universal, allowing people's stories to come alive through her unique vocals and haunting melodies. Her Red House Records CDs include Come Up Full and The Living Side; she has won high praise for her songwriting on both. Her music has been featured nationally on NPR Music, XM/Sirius Radio and the syndicated show Mountain Stage. Publications like The Winnipeg Free Press have compared her songwriting with that of veterans Dar Williams, Mary Chapin Carpenter and Joni Mitchell.
All tickets are general admission. If you have any special seating needs or requests, please call 651-292-3063 and we will do our best to accommodate them.
"Red House Live from Landmark Center" is supported by Red House Records, Trotter's Café, Wells Piano and media partner KFAI.
