The Music You Remember
What do you do in a Howard Stern world, with a Burt Bacharach sensibility?
Celebrating the tender pop music of the 1960's, the play finds Paul Diolio), having just learned that he has been denied tenure, teaching his final class called "Sound Judgment: Theories and Speculations on Popular Music, Addendum to Follow, 101." He is joined by his young female teaching assistant Sally (Kristen Bailey), who leads him on a kaleidoscopic journey of memory, accompanied by a varied and exciting audio and video score, as well as live musical performances by both Bailey and Perna. As Sally is revealed to be more than she seems, Paul undergoes a redemptive transformation.
