Matt Wolfe Trio at The Harlem Flophouse
New York City's Matt Wolfe Trio featuring Matt Wolfe on guitar, Jarrett Walser on drums and Leo Smith on bass play standards and originals at The Harlem Flophouse.
Matt Wolfe is a New York-based guitarist, composer, and band-leader. He has performed at 54 Below, Blues Alley, The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and at the Novosibirsk Jazz Festival in Russia. He recently released his first album, Duets, Vol 1, with his brother, bassist Tim Wolfe.
The Harlem Flophouse, built in the 1890s, has been in continuous operation as a flophouse since 1917. Lovingly restored by artist/musician Rene Calvo it has garnered a world wide reputation for it's unique beauty and character. It has been the site of numerous photo shoots, TV and film productions.
