On Wednesday, September 25th, Northwest Film Forum will host the next installment of the Office of Film & Musics monthly Mixer, where creatives and filmmakers can connect and mingle.

In addition to time for networking, this months event includes an overview of NWFFs Local Sightings Film Festival, and local film industry findings compiled by The Ostara Group the result of a number of listening sessions with local film stakeholders, led by the Office of Film + Music, Northwest Film Forum, and Washington Filmworks. Chris Swenson, Film + Special Events Manager at Seattles Office of Film & Music (OFM), and Bobby Lee, Director of the Office of Economic Development (OED), will present a changing model for numerous Seattle city offices, including OFM, OED, and ARTS, as they reenvision a scenario where film is a cornerstone of the Citys creative economy strategy. Lee will draw from his creative economy work in Portland, then give a medium-to-high level walk through of how this new paradigm may work in our city.
