Please purchase your tickets seperatley, we are offering a by one get one free special for this Saturday only for tailgaters.
The tailgating area is located at parking lot J.
Show your online receipt to the parking attendants and stop in James Complex to pick up your pass.
The tailgating policy is below.
Tailgating is defined as the participation in a social gathering before an event in a designated area. This policy refers specifically to tailgating at home football games. This policy is effective for the 2019 Bowie State University Football season. We want Bowie State Football to be enjoyable for our students, faculty, staff, alumni, fans and our visiting team fans. Our number one priority is your safety! For those reasons, tailgaters will be expected to meet the below stated requirements: The Official Tailgating area for the 2019 season is designated as parking Lot J. No gas power generators are allowed. Propane/Gas grills are allowed. Propane tanks will be limited to no more than 5-10 gallons per vehicle. Alcohol is NOT PERMITTED in the tailgating area. All Bowie State University students are subject to University Social Regulations and Policies stated in the Student Handbook. No glass containers use cans, plastic cups or plastic bottles only. No designated parking space may be used for grills, chairs, tents, tables or anything other than vehicle parking. Out of courtesy to others, only portable radio/stereo units will be allowed. For safety reasons, stereo units requiring an external power source are not allowed. Volume and the language in music must be appropriate for all ages. No pets are allowed in the tailgating area during tailgating hours. Tailgating will begin at 12pm for this game. No overnight Tailgating! Tailgate activities will cease 1 hour after the conclusion of the game. Security will ask those failing to comply to leave the premises. Tailgaters must be respectful of those around them and mindful that students are subject to University Social Regulations and Policies stated in the Student Handbook. Everyone else is subject to rules and regulations of the State of Maryland, the local Police Department, Bowie State University and the Bowie State University Athletic Department. Waste food items and trash, including charcoal, must be disposed of in the appropriate containers that are provided on our grounds. Vending or selling of raffles WILL NOT be allowed in tailgating area. Any violations of this policy may result in termination of tailgate privileges and criminal prosecution and/or action taken through the Bowie State University Department of Public Safety, the Dean of Students or the local Police Department.
