Internal Controls for Nonprofits
Most small nonprofits, with small staff sizes, do not think about the possibility of embezzlement, financial wrong doing, or internal mistakes. However, mistakes and intentional wrong doing does happen even in small to medium organizations. There are best practices and policies that should be put in place to insure that these types of events do not happen. This seminar will cover the legal, financial and nonprofit policy perspectives of this topic. You will learn about what your nonprofit or your nonprofit clients should be doing to prevent mistakes and wrongdoing and what to do if mistakes or wrongdoing does happen.
