Hannah Reimann: BOTH SIDES NOW: THE MUSIC OF JONI MITCHELL 1966 - 1974 with Michele Temple
In celebration of the 75th birthday year of Joni Mitchell, the 50th anniversary of Woodstock and her ongoing 7-year celebration of the music of Joni Mitchell, singer and pianist HANNAH REIMANN presents a new staging of Mitchell's work, BOTH SIDES NOW. Featuring Reimann as lead vocalist, pianist and dulcimer with guest instrumentalist MICHELE TEMPLE (Pere Ubu) on guitar and backing vocals, the show presents 19 songs from the albums Song to a Seagull, Clouds, Ladies of the Canyon, Blue, For the Roses and Court and Spark, and readings from David Yaffes bestseller, Reckless Daughter: A Portrait of Joni Mitchell.

New York City-based singer/songwriter, multi-genre composer, pianist, filmmaker and actress HANNAH REIMANN began her career as a concert pianist (Lincoln Center, Grand Canyon Music Festival, etc.), created music videos The Bottom of the Sea (1998), I Have a Dream (2008), short films, Destroying Angel (2012) and My Fathers House, a Journey of Love and Memory (2016) studied and worked with Austin Pendleton at HB Studio, acted in 20 independent films and has written music for film and theater. She has synthesized her roles as multi-instrumentalist performer, teacher, and filmmaker for over two decades.

"An uncanny interpreter of Mitchell's canon." -New Yorker

"Reimann communicates the lyrics beautifully...musically satisfying there are few better ways to spend an evening than to hear Joni Mitchell's music done well."  Patrick Leader, jonimitchell.com

"Hannah is keeping Joni's incredible spirit, poetry and music alive so that the younger generations can be inspired."
