NW LoopFest -
Here we are again! After an awesome showcase for the first year, we're back for the 2nd annual NW LoopFest!

For those of you who are a little fuzzy on the details, loopers are musicians who use hardware and/or software technologies to instantly record and playback sound. These are then manipulated on the fly for a highly creative display of solo or small group musical awesomeness. There seems to be no bounds on the type of sound created. Some are funky, some are esoteric, some are minimalist, some are avant-garde, some are pure noise, some are beyond description.
What we do is put a mish-mash of some serious talent together to present a showcase of all kinds of live looping artistry. These artists aren't some hobbyists in a basement, (well... not all of the time) these are professional performers. Whilst some have employment, they do what they do to hone their craft for public performance for money. This is why we have ticket sales. Please support this artists with a donation. We've got a lot of talent and the tickets are cheap. Buy their CDs! I'll have a bucket for you to throw in an extra dollar or six if you feel particularly moved. This year we've got two nights in Seattle and two nights in Portland.
Tickets are $10. That's CHEAP!!!! Bring your friends.
