Sense & Sensibility
Directed by Bryar Golden
Sense & Sensibility Written by Kate Hamill based on the novel by Jane Austin.
The Drama Department at Shoreline Community College presents Sense and Sensibility.
Jane Austen's 1811 novel spins a tale of the Dashwood family whose comfortable life changes dramatically when their father dies. Kate Hamill's 2016 play takes its audience on a whirlwind theatrical ride through the novels central story--how Elinor and Marianne Dashwood explore matters of the heart in distinctly different ways. Jane Austen would giggle with delight at Kate Hamill's adaptation with its playful perspective on the social rules "polite society."
Join us for a splendid night of fortunes (and misfortunes)!
