Line of Sighs

Ruth Page Center Presents Chicago Dancemakers Forum and Victor Alexander performance of Line of Sighs. Line of Sighs builds an arena where the smallet gestures-like the poignant moments we overlook everyday-are magnified and prolonged so that we can experience the unseen strings of connection that tie us to people and place. The cords shoot outwards, interact, tangle, and disengage. Weaving, dance, and music intermingle and render visible the human longing for connection-whether existing or imagined, enduring or transitory, living or lost. Performance dates and time: Thursday September 5th, Friday September 6th, and Saturday September 7th 2013. All shows are at 8:00 PM. Sunday September 8 2013 at 3:00 PM. Tickets: General Admission $20.00. Students and Seniors $15.00. Saturday September 7th Performance and Post-Reception Tickets to benefit the American Cancer Society $50.00.
