The Lil' Red Variations
The Lil' Red Variations is a new theatre piece being workshopped by NightVision Theatre and TheVaultEureka.com. This ain't your Grandma's Lil' Red. The show explores multiple new iterations of the classic fairy tale, and discusses gender roles, sexual identity and freedom, and socio-political cultural pressures as they relate to our day-to-day lives. Find your own conclusion! Does the Wolf need to conform to his typical role? Is Lil' Red all that innocent? Is the Lumberjack on the up-and-up, or up to no good? These and other questions will be addressed in a hard-hitting epic journey centered around a dangerously not-so-weak Lil' Red.
