A Trip to Cowtown
"A Trip to Cowtown" is a collage performance of song, story, and object plays, created by Tayloranne Finch and Daniel Nickerson. Cowtown itself is a storybook of alternative Americana, a patchwork of new and old visions of small town ideals played out by an unusual cast of characters and living sculptures. In this chapter, the audience will follow Peggy Pilgrim, and her truck full of tiny dancers, as she passes through Cowtown on her journey to find a better way to be. Musical saw, accordion, banjo, narration, singing, puppets, fabric collage, clowning, musical chairs and more are used by the performers to tell Peggy's story. This lighthearted fable is fit for families and people of all ages.
