Storytelling Master Class with Antonio Rocha
Stagebridge proudly presents world-renowned storyteller Antonio Rocha in leading a Storytelling Master Class on Thursday, November 7 from 10:30am-3:00pm.
The Brazilian-born artist began his career in the performing arts 34 years ago and has studied with Mime Masters Marcel Marceau and Tony Montanaro. His unique blend of body language, mime techniques, and spoken word has graced festivals and venues in 16 countries, and he has been honored with the coveted Circle of Excellence Award by the National Storytelling Network and the Parents Choice Gold Award for his "Under African Skies" DVD. Now he brings his talent and experience to help tellers of all levels in preparing a story for performance, creating distinct characters, voices and sounds, handling transitions, and more. Additionally, he will perform stories to illustrate what is being taught.
