Lenore Raphael, is an internationally renowned jazz Pianist, Steinway artist, jazz radio host and jazz teacher. She has performed and in many cases, sold out major jazz clubs and festivalsDizzy's at Jazz At Lincoln Center (3 times), The Blue Note (NYC), Birdland (NYC) Blues Alley (DC) The Jazz Showcase (Chicago) Ottawa International Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scott's in London, The London Jazz Festival, The Tel Aviv Jazz festival, The S.S. Oosterdam jazz cruise, and many more. She was one of three featured internationally renowned Steinway pianists including Ahmad Jamal and Abdullah Ibraham, at the Joy Of Jazz festival in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lenore also performed to sold out audiences in April 2014 at the Casa Da Musica in Porto Portugal and at The Broward Center for the Arts Amaturo theater in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has toured in England, Europe and Israel. Along the way she has performed with such jazz notables as Clark Terry, Jon Hendricks, Warren Vache, Ken Peplowski, Howard Alden, and many more. Lenore can be heard on repeats of Marian McPartlands Piano Jazz on the NPR network.
Lenore has 11 critically acclaimed recordings. Her 2010 recording Invitation was on Top 10 jazz radio stations for weeks. Her 2012 album "LOVE NOTES" a tribute to Oscar Peterson was voted by the BBC as best international jazz recording for 2013.
Steve Hobbs endorses Yamaha vibes and Innovative Percussion mallets and has taught master classes at Duke University, Yale University, Cincinnati Conservatory, University of Akron, Cleveland State University, The Cornish Institute, Whittman College, Eastern Washington University, Florida State University, Radford University, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and many more. Hobbs has been in Downbeats critics and readers polls on several occasions dating from 1993 to the present time. In live performance Steve has been featured with vocalists Teresa Carroll, John LaBelle, Johnny San Sone, Giacomo Gates.
