Broadway Chamber Players Season 7 Opening Concert! Featuring Broadway Concertmaster Una Tone!
BCP is excited to welcome you to our first concert of our 7th Concert Season! One of Broadway's leading and sought after concertmasters, Una Tone, will lead performances of two incredible charismatic string quartets, including one by her fellow Latvian countryman, Peteris Vasks. The evening will feature multiple works for different intimate string ensemble music many drawing their inspiration from Eastern European musical traditions and folk music.
Latvian violinist Una Tone enjoys a career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestra player internationally. In NYC Una performs with the Radio City Orchestra, NY Pops, Opera Orchestra of New York, American Ballet Theater Orchestra among others. Una has performed in many Broadway shows including Bridges of Madison County, Lion King, Kinky Boots, Pippin, Young Frankenstein, The Producers, Wicked, Ragtime, On the Town, and Miss Saigon. She has also recorded with artists such as Carly Simon, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett and often appears on TV shows such as The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, Today's Show, Conan O'Brian, The View, and The Late Show with Stephan Colbert.
