In Good Company presents The Golden Door
The Golden Door is set in an Armenian grocery store in a transitional Boston neighborhood. Ani, the third generation
Armenian-American owner, runs the store with her Italian-American
husband, Marco. Their Armenian customers have long moved away
from the neighborhood, and the store is financially failing.
The neighborhood is now made up of immigrants from Mexico, China and the Caribbean along with descendants of immigrants from Eastern
Europe and Ireland.
Events dramatically change with the arrival of these new immigrants at the store as they, Ani, and Marco change the way they see each other and the future of the store.
