ROLLER DERBY DOUBLE HEADER TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHARITY, VARIETY CARE!
The Victory Dolls are on a roll this season! If you missed last month's wins, witness the action August 10th! The OKVD All Star Squad will be meeting the ICT Roller Girls once again, and Battle Squad is up against ICT Roller Girls' Heartland Havoc, both from Wichita, Kansas.
The bout will be held inside the Centennial Building on the OK State Fairgrounds Saturday, August 10th. Doors open at 5 pm, action starts at 6!
A portion of the bout proceeds with benefit Variety Care. Variety Care is an Oklahoma based Community Health Center (CHC.) The organization provides access to affordable healthcare services for all family members, regardless of age, medical history, immigration status, or insurance coverage. It's the end of the season and we're going out in style! This bout will have 6 different raffle baskets up for grabs: Date Night, Dude's Night Out, Health and Beauty, Pet Package, Roller Girl Package, and Family Fun Night! Tickets are 1 for $1 or 12 for $10. Get a head start, buy tickets for the raffle from ANY Victory Doll!
The All Star Squad will bout first with ICT Roller Girls. The Wichita/OKC record is 2-0 with OKC holding the wins, and your Victory Dolls are ready for a 3peat! Then the OKVD Battle Squad will be battling it out with ICT Roller Girls' Heartland Havoc. OKVD Battle Squad is undefeated for 2013! Can they finish out the season with all the wins? Come and support your Oklahoma Victory Dolls in their last home bouts of the season!
Tickets are $10 in advance and are available at OKC and Norman Guestroom Records locations (guestroom-records.com), Skate Galaxy OKC (skategalaxyokc.com) or here online! Tickets are $15 at the door. Kids under 12 get in FREE with a paid adult.
Beer can be purchased with a valid ID. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis and you are welcome to bring your own chair.
