The Seattle Latino Film Festival in partnership with Seamar Museum of Chicano/a/Latino/a Culture and Delta Air Lines invites you to the Opening Night Gala of the 2019 edition of the festival.

As the Official Opening of the Festival this will be a Red Carpet Event where you will enjoy meeting and greeting visiting filmmakers/actor/industry guest from all over Latin America and within the US.

The event will include a no-host bar with delicious Hors d'oeuvres.

This is a night to dress up , have your picture taken professionally as you walk the red carpet and party with other film lovers.

We are excited to announce an exclusive program:

Paula Madrigal and her Orquestra

The Northwest Premier of the US short-film Bibi, introduced by the Mexican Adriana Barraza, an Oscar nominated actress. Director and Actor will be attendance.

The Northwest Premier of the Mexican 2018 production "The Chambermaid". La Camarista - The Chambermaid.
Actress Gabriela Cartol will be attendance.

Sypnosis:

Eve, a young chambermaid at a luxurious Mexico City hotel, confronts the monotony of long workdays with quiet examinations of forgotten belongings and budding friendships that nourish her newfound and determined dream for a better life.

Eve, una camarista de un hotel de lujo en Ciudad de México, es una mujer solitaria que trabaja limpiando habitaciones en un entorno radicalmente diferente a su realidad. Eve se enfrenta a la monotonía de los largos días de trabajo examinando los objetos olvidados por los huéspedes, construyendo nuevas amistades y soñando en una vida mejor.
