What do you get when you cross an ex-Franciscan friar with a beautiful voice, great Italian food, and pictures of Rome?
An evening in Italy, of course.
A seeker, a wandering troubadour, Gabriele Carena finds his musical inspiration in his life adventures, and the colors of his life in the music he plays. Just like a mirror, his life reflects his musical wandering. Always looking for something true, Gabriele had very different and eclectic life experiences, from being a monk to becoming a hobo busker.
Supported by friends and music teachers, who really believed in his talent, Gabriele started touring Italy, playing in the streets, writing songs, taking part in contests and having gigs in local bars and venues.
