Bluff
Emily and Neal are doing fine as a new couple in New York West Village until her brash & vulgar stepfather comes to town for a convention. Gene brings with him all the contradictions Emily has been trying to bury. Incorporating theatrical techniques pioneered by Chicago's Second City Comedy Troupe, Bluff alternates between farce and drama eliminating the fourth wall so the actors interact with audience to build a disturbing comedy about love and family on a collision course. This is a provovotive play and stars some amazing Bay Area talent including Isabelle Grimm as Emily, Will Livingston as Neal and the force of nature Cameron Stuckey playing the role of Gene. The show opens November 1 and runs through November 16 at the Belrose Theatre in San Rafael, Ca and is co directed by Joey Hoeber & Dianne Harrison.
