Isabel West - She's Back!
After a long hiatus from performing, Isabel West is pleased to be making her first appearance at PANGEA. Fusing her stand-up comedy and musical theater backgrounds together, Isabel will delight the audience with humorous anecdotes, jokes, and songs, as well as using her sultry voice to delight jazz enthusiasts. Working with the David Shenton Trio, the evening will not disappoint music lovers.
Isabel was a member of The Groundlings and Funny You Should Ask as well as doing stand-up at The Comedy Store and The Improv. Her TV credits include Three's Company, Alice, Dynasty, Falcon Crest, and Mama's Family. Regional theater credits include Into the Woods, Fiddler on the Roof, Assassins, Rumors, The Most Happy Fella, and Midsummer Night's Dream. After performing in Los Angeles at The Gardenia, Studio One, and The Improv, she's pleased to be bringing her show to the New York audience.
"Isabel West is too short to be this funny. A gem of an entertainer who will fill your evening with joy." Steve Bluestein
"I had the pleasure of being Isabel's musical director when she first started performing in Los Angeles some years ago and always loved playing behind her! Izzy can break your heart with a ballad - then tickle you totally with a comedic song." Michele Brourman "I wrote THE TAMING OF THE SHREW with her in mind!" William Shakespeare, Stratford Times "The zanier Isabel gets, the better the show - she could work an entire act around her marvelous improvisational imagination." George Christy, The Hollywood Reporter
