Behind the Lens: Adams Company Dance
Adams Company Dance Presents: Behind the Lens -- An Evening of Short Dance Films, at the Bowtie Theater in Greenwich, CT, on October 10th, 2019 at 7:00pm
Mitzi Adams, Artistic Director of Adams Company Dance, will present Behind the Lens, a 90 minute film screening of their abstract compendium of short dance films. From the Baryshnikov Arts Center to the shores of Silver Sands State Park in CT and everywhere in between, Adams and filmmakers Amelia Golden, Benjamin Moss,Joel Stephen,and Faith Marek, weave dancers into their unique settings to create film shorts that are visually stunning, whimsical and emotionally stirring. Adams Company Dance is a NYC/CT based independent dance company now it its 28th year.
This event is in collaboration with Peace Community Chapel (a CT-based ministry), whose on-going mission continues to be helping to fight hunger in Lower Fairfield County, CT. 50% of your ticket price will be tax-deductible. Adams Company Dance will donate 50% of their sales from this event to go toward this mission.
Peace Community Chapel is a non-profit corporation, tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.
