You've written a novel. What's next? If you're interested in traditional publishing, it's time to secure representation. In this workshop, learn how to get your manuscript ready for agents, how to write a query, how to find literary agents, how to avoid common querying mistakes, how to track your progress, how to stay sane, and how to take advantage of Twitter pitch contests. Come with a query prepared for group critique, or use time during class to write a first draft of your query or Twitter pitch.
About the Instructor: Maria Mora is the author of FRAGILE REMEDY (Flux, Summer 2020), a young adult fantasy about a genetically engineered teen who must choose between dying free on the streets with the boy he loves, or sacrificing his freedom for a chance to live.
