Vicki Knight in "Here's To Love, Life, and You"
Originally from Canada, (she's big in Winnipeg) Vicki Knight moved to the Desert area in the early eighties and wasted no time making a name for herself in Southern California, quickly being dubbed 'The Desert's Songbird.
Highlights of her career are numerous and include: The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies; appearances at The Lawrence Welk Theater; and featured roles at The Palm Canyon Theatre. Her one-woman cabaret shows have been crowd pleasers at special events, private parties and fundraising concerts for The Stroke Recovery Center and The Jewish Federation of the Desert, and all of the best venues in the Valley. Vicki has received many awards and nominations from the Desert Theater League.
"Here's To Life, Love, and You" starring Vicki Knight with accompaniment by Musical Director Joel Baker on piano, will be presented at 2 PM on August 11, 2013 as part of Les Michaels' Sundays In Summer Series at the Arthur Newman Theater in The Joslyn Center, 73750 Catalina Way, Palm Desert.
