Blue Hills String Break 2013
Starting at noon time on Saturday September 14th and wrapping on noon time the next day at noon, we will bring to you a combination of high-quality string performances including one of the founding members of David Grisman Quintet (Darol Anger-with other highly-skilled players) and NH's own Crunchy Western Boys. David Talmage, who leads the bluegrass jams at Newmarket's Stone Church, will be on board with unique skills. From the Concord area we have an emerging act named Diamond Joe.
Our retreat takes place on the side of Blue Job Mountain in Strafford NH. We have designed this as a camping event and it will be quite family friendly. Children under 16 are free with paying adults. We have been cleaning up a wooded grove where filtered sunshine will bless the audience; this really is a magic place.
The property has plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails. The top of Blue Job can be accessed with a little effort for spectacular 100-mile views.
