Tired Eyes: A Sparhawk/Mattson Neil Young Tribute
Tired Eyes is the Neil Young tribute band consisting of Rich Mattson and Alan Sparhawk on guitars and vocals. The bands rhythm section is Richs brother Glen Mattson (I.R.O.B., Glenrustles) on drums and bassist Dale Kallman (Ol Yeller). Tired Eyes is named after one of the more dismal songs from the Neil Young album, Tonights the Night and they perform music from Neils golden 70s - 80s era. Songs from Harvest, Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, Rust Never Sleepsall your favorites. And many surprises and deep cuts. This authentic feedback-laden Bigsby guitar and 4-part vocal groups shows bring about a very joyous and memorable evening thats just about as good as the real thing. Some have even said better, but lets not get carried away.
