**ROTHENBERG HALL IS NOW FILLED - TICKETS ARE NOW FOR THE SIMULCAST IN HAAGA HALL** James Walvin, professor emeritus at the University of York and the Los Angeles Times Distinguished Fellow at The Huntington, discusses the widespread global ramifications of African slavery that transformed the cultural habits of millions of people. Walvin has published widely on slavery and the slave trade, and his book "Black and White" won the Martin Luther King Memorial Prize in 1975. Free; reservations required.
