Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton at TCCC
Still only in his 20s, Jerron Blind Boy Paxton returns to Tompkins Corners after bringing down the house almost two years ago. He transports audiences back to the 1920s while singing and playing banjo, guitar, piano, fiddle, harmonica, Cajun accordion and the bones. Paxton has the ability to transform traditional jazz, blues, folk, and country into the here and now. In addition, he mesmerizes audiences with his humor and storytelling.
Paxton performed to a sold-out audience for the Lead Belly Tribute at Carnegie Hall in 2016, and sites Fats Waller and "Blind" Lemon Jefferson as primary influences.
