Health Care Access 2019-20: Progress and Prospects
A Continuing Legal Education Seminar 3.75 Law & Legal Credits, 2.50 Other CLE Credits Pending
This decade began with major federal health reform through the Affordable Care Act. In recent years, federal rulemaking, litigation, and legislation are challenging the progress made during this decade and complicating advocacy efforts to make the most of new opportunities in the 2020s. At the state level, in this last year of the decade, the legislature enacted significant legislation intended to mitigate federal impacts and improve access to affordable, quality health care.
