Andes Mountain Music Comes to Putnam Valley
Andes Manta brings the vibrant and traditional music of the Andean mountains - rooted in the cultural heritage of the Incas and their ancestors - to TCCC.
Using 35 traditional instruments, from the lyrical sound of the Andean Flute to the haunting tones of the six-foot-long Pan Pipes, the dynamic and mystical songs they play are filled with the exquisite sounds of an ancient civilization. Many indigenous South Americans believe that it is the music that preserves the heart and soul of the Ancient Ones.
Connoting a joyous celebration of daily life, Andes Manta presents a unique - and almost spiritual - high-energy performance.
Suggested donation is $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, and children 12 and under are FREE.
