French Brandy Pairing with Eric Fourault

On Monday Oct. 7th, 7pm to 9pm, Beauchamp Imports is hosting a special Brandy Pairing at The Barrel Thief, with brandy master Eric Fourault.

You'll be treated to a buffet of seasonal appetizers prepared by The Barrel Thiefs head chef, Hattie Mason, while you savor a flight of 6 French brandies: two award-winning Calvados blends from Pierre Huet, two premium Bas Armagnac blends from Labiette Castille, and two distinctive Cognacs from Prince de Didonne. All brandies will also be available for order at the event.

This is a rare opportunity to learn about French brandies from Eric Fourault of Fourault Wine and Spirits, a fifth-generation Bordeaux wine and spirits merchant. Eric gained extensive experience in the wine and spirits industry representing the House of Rothschild, Seagram's Chateau Wine and M. Touton Wine Selections before returning to his family business in Bordeaux in 1992. Now, in addition to his wine portfolio, Eric works exclusively with prestigious family estates and spirits distillers from the Calvados, Bas Armagnac and Cognac regions of France. And he is coming to Seattle to share his rare knowledge of brandy with you!
