She had the pleasure of working with and receiving guidance from the likes of Ann Corio and Libby Jones. Marinka was mentored for a short while by Rose La Rose, who gave Marinka her signature move of "love the curtains." She worked throughout the United States in all burlesque theaters and nightclubs and internationally in South America, Middle East, Europe and Canada. In 1979, Marinka worked in Bob Fosse's "All That Jazz". Marinka moved to Las Vegas in 2004, and has been a member of the Burlesque Hall of Fame since its inception. She is currently working on her biography and still performs.
