After spending decades as a television director, Naoko Nobutomo made her theatrical feature debut: a personal documentary that captures the enduring love and struggles of her old parents in Kure, Hiroshima while her mothers Alzheimer related dementia gradually progresses. Nobutomo interweaves direct and intimate documentation with old footage of her parents, including scenes from her own battle with breast cancer that depicts their support.
