Seton School Welcomes Distinguished Author Francisco Jiménez
Please JOIN US for a delightful evening with Francisco Jiménez in conversation with his son Miguel Jiménez at Seton School.
Award Winning Author and Educator, Francisco Jiménez emigrated with his family from Tlaquepaque, Mexico to California and as a child worked alongside his parents in the fields of California. His books beautifully unfold his inspiring life story.
His four-book series: The Circuit, Breaking Through, Reaching Out, Taking Hold--has been included in the American Library Association Booklist's 50 Best Young Adult Books of All Time.
His son Miguel Jiménez will talk with him on stage. Although the stories in this book are set in the 1940s and 1950s, many of the issues are still relevant today.
