WTS September Lunch Program - Commute Trip Reduction
The Washington State Legislature passed the Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) Law in 1991 to address traffic congestion, air pollution and petroleum fuel consumption. For two decades, CTR has proven an effective tool for easing congestion and operating our transportation system efficiently. State and local governments, transit agencies, regional transportation planning organizations and employers collaborate to make CTR programs successful, providing convenient and efficient alternatives to drive-alone trips.
Please join WTS for a panel discussion on CTR in Washington State, with perspectives from Washington State Department of Transportation, King County Metro, Seattle Department of Transportation, Commute Seattle, and Port of Seattle.
Registration and networking begins at 11:30 am. The program begins at noon and ends at 1:00 pm.
Ticket purchase will close the morning of September 16th. Space is limited, so register soon!
