Its always a pleasure to welcome vocalist Alyssa Allgood back to the Studio5 stage. She is poised, musically mature beyond her years, and she can scat up a storm. The last time I saw Alyssa she told me about a brand new quartet she's sporting -- to go with the cool new glasses, apparently -- and I'm really eager to hear them live. This group is new enough, in fact, that I don't even have a video to share with you ... so you'll just have to watch an old clip of her ripping it up at the Green Mill on "Exactly Like You" until you come on out to check out version 2.0!
