ALBEE DAMNED
Writer & Director: David James Parr
"ALBEE DAMNED" is a play on plays, featuring comedic shorts inspired by classic works of theater about family dysfunction and marital discord, each given a modern twist. In LONG GAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT three siblings en route from the airport to a Thanksgiving dinner stop at a family restaurant where margaritas are consumed and secrets revealed in quick succession. In ALBEE DAMNED, Game Night goes horribly awry when two couples -- one long-term and the other newlyweds -- engage in a cutthroat game of Charades fueled by resentments, jealousy and a bottle of Ouzo.

Emerging Artists returns with their one-of-a-kind festival. Visit the theater any evening during this three-week event, and you'll find yourself transported in a number of surprising ways: by a single performer embodying a whole host of characters; by a more experimental theater piece "done differently" that challenges and delights; by a cozy two-person show exploring relationships; or perhaps by a bouncy new musical that will have you humming. Emerging Artists has always been about new works, new talents, new voices. That's never been more evident than now.
NO REFUNDS will be granted.
