The extraordinary Polish jazz singer Grazyna Auguscik has teamed up with one of our favorite Studio5 veterans, pianist Ben Lewis, to create reimagined versions of some of the most beautiful music this side of Belarus. Grazyna is an innovative vocalist who explores the edges of jazz, sometimes experimental, sometimes genre-bending, always intriguing. Ben is a Studio5 favorite who brings performances to our stage that are consistently artful, technically dazzling and thematically fascinating. With just voice and piano, Grazyna & Ben will place a sensitive contemporary lens on Frederic Chopin, Polands poetic romantic composer of mazurkas, sonatas, waltzes, nocturnes and ballades.
