Chris Buhalis - Claudia Buzzetti & Friends at Johnny's Speakeasy
Chris Buhalis and Claudia Buzzetti met at the Townes Van Zandt International Festival in Figino Serenza, Italy in June 2019.
After hearing each other sing, they became fast friends. During her visit to America, Buzzetti (pronounced Bootsetee) came to Michigan and sang with Buhalis at a private show. They had so much fun they want to do it again!
This very special show will bring them together for one night only in Ann Arbor's premiere music location - Johnny's Speakeasy.
They will be backed by some of Ann Arbors finest musicians including Jason Dennie on guitar and mandolin.
Claudia Buzzetti is a singer and guitar player from Bergamo, Italy. Buzzetti is a seasoned performer and singer who started out singing jazz with the band Close Quartet. With a love of American music, she was introduced to the world of bluegrass and country music and began playing guitar. She has toured Italy playing festivals, concerts and lending her voice to many recordings. Buzzetti has an amazing voice and a stage presence that is captivating.
Chris Buhalis is a songwriter and singer from Ann Arbor, MI. He has released two records of songs, toured the country and parts of the world, and played Johnny's Speakeasy more times than he can count.

Doors open at 7 pm.
Show starts at 8 pm.
This show will require using the shuttle provided by Johnny's Speakeasy to and from the show.
Please drop your passenger(s) off at Johnny's where they can secure seats; then drive to Plum Market and wait for the shuttle back.
(Usually a silver Honda Oddesy; sometimes a green Kia Soul.)
Plum Market is located in the Maple Village Shopping Center at the corner of Maple & Dexter.
