Seth Holbrook

Prior to his move to Portland in 2007, Seth was an actor in Boston for 7 years doing a wide variety of work in theater and film. Having arrived in Portland and starting the band, Time Pilots, he became the front man entertaining many events with his fun, energetic & engaging style. Seth has focused his attention on the music field though he continues to do the occasional commercial, play, and indi- film.

In 2016, Seth reached out to Jim in hopes of expanding his styles and getting the chance to sing a couple of his favorite Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra tunes. He then had the pleasure of being asked to join the Jim Ciampi Band as a lead vocalist. It was only a few months later when Jim proposed the idea of a dueling piano show. Seth expressed a bit of shock and awe as he had never even seen a dueling show! However, after many months in Jims music studio, Seth has emerged to use his vocal, guitar, harmonica, theatrical and newly minted piano skills to become the perfect compliment to Jim. Seth describes the rest as drawing the analogy of Indiana Jones holding on to the whip and being pulled by the truck in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Jim Ciampi

Jim has enjoyed being a performing musician since college and has been the leader of his own band since 1988. After returning to his hometown of Portland via Boston College, he was the founder of the first music program at his alma mater, Cheverus High School. He continued to lead a top flight band while teaching, and then moved into the business sector of designing and managing events.

His true passion for performing and event management allowed him to pursue his dream of establishing a premier event facility that produced hundreds of events, weddings and national concert artists. Today, Jim focuses on being a performer as he continues to lead The Jim Ciampi Band, a versatile engaging 8 piece dance band, as well as performing as a soloist and in his smaller combos all throughout New England. The newest project "Keys to the City Dueling Piano Showcase came into view in early 2017. I always wanted to create a vibrant offshoot of my dance and listening projects and this was the perfect mix of theater, comedy and fantastic music."

However, finding the right sidekick was troubling me because it had to be the perfect mix of talent and rapport in order for it to succeed. I realized that person was standing 3 feet to my left within my own band and soon enough Seth and I were off and running.

Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $18.00 at the door.
