Girls On The Road Concert Night!
What do you get when you take the sweet, poignant essence of folk music, and put it in the hands of two keyboardist / arrangers with jazz, classical and R&B influences? Welcome to GIRLS ON THE ROAD, the newly formed Folktronica Fusion duo of singer/songwriter/keyboardists Annie Moscow and Rachael Nicole Gold. Their music draws on diverse influences ranging from Debussy, Charles Ives and the Beatles, to Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell and Bruce Hornsby.

Annie Moscow is a touring singer/songwriter. She studied classical piano, jazz and composition at Indiana University. Moscow writes and performs regularly for the Herberger Lunchtime Theater where she just completed her eleventh tenth season. Her latest recent CD release, Passing Trains climbed to #20 on the Folk-DJ chart in February, 2017, in the first month of its release.

Rachael Nicole Gold is a singer/songwriter & multi-instrumentalist. Over the past thirty years she has performed extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Ms. Gold studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles where she studied arranging and composition under legendary orchestrator / composers such as Dick Grove, Nelson Riddle, Clare Fischer, Tom Scott and Lalo Schifrin. Rachael has recorded and toured with many well-known entertainers, including Sister Sledge, Donna Summer, as well as written, produced and arranged for film & TV.

Moscow and Gold have collaborated on various recording and performing projects for over thirty years, including a stint as a childrens duo in the early 90s where they toured the country as Melonball Music and garnered three hits on national kids Radio Aaahs. They have also have composed music together for film, television and a variety of recording artists ranging from Sarah Vaughn to Sister Sledge to Mickey Mouse. Now back together again as performers, audiences will be thoroughly entertained with the unique, inventive sound and always evolving performance of GIRLS ON THE ROAD.

The concert will be held in the large Meeting room. Doors open at 7:15pm. Advance purchase tickets will be $15. Admission at the door will be $20.
