FDR DRAG SHOW! - a workshop performance
75 Minutes with strangers who become friends, exploring cocktails and braces, swimming pools and hand jobs, New Deals and marital dances hosted by our first President with disability: FDR
Wry Crips Disabled Womens Theatre Company will present a short play Wry Crips Occupy! telling the story of the women who organized the occupation of the federal building in San Francisco for 28 days until they pressured Washington to enact the first civil rights legislation for people with disabilities.
Also featuring performances by comics Nina G & Jade Theriault.

For normies, disability represents their greatest fears of loss, change, and incapacitation...even amidst other progressive narratives springing up around race, gender, ethnic, and sexuality identities.
Our project aims to dispel this myth about disability.
All tickets are fully accessible General Admission tickets.
We are providing our tickets on a sliding scale from the lowest price point of $15 to the highest price point of $45 to cover our basic costs. We encourage you to give generously to support the costs of producing this work.
