September LAI Golden Gate Luncheon
San Francisco is having a renaissance period for our institutions of higher education  and for their campuses. Join us to learn about the dramatic reinventions being planned and executed by two of the City's most storied universities: UC Hastings and San Francisco State.

Septembers luncheon will focus on the dozens of new buildings and millions of square feet of space that will be built, and how these new academic villages shape - and are shaped - by their urban environment.

In the next decade, Hastings will bring on-line new state of the art academic facilities and hundreds of beds of student housing, along with a top-to-bottom rehabilitation of one of the City's most iconic residential towers. Likewise, SF State will densify its campus with more than 1.5 million square feet of new classrooms, arts, and research space. Parking lots will be replaced with new recreation facilities, student amenity space, and more than 10,000 new beds of housing.
