FogHouse Concerts Presents - CALLAGHAN
A long-time Shawn Mullins fan, she contacted him through MySpace(My What?) and, after being knocked out by her music, he agreed to produce her debut album. She left her London digs and boarded a plane headed for Atlanta.
Playing piano and guitar, Callaghan delivers stunning vocals frequently compared to artists such as Sarah McLachlan and Emmy Lou Harris. Her songs chronicle the stories, experiences, and emotions that are a part of everyones lives. She has toured extensively with the likes of Shawn Mullins, Ed Kowalczyk, and Matthew Perryman-Jones while also headlining her own shows all across the USA and the United Kingdom. Her singles have been play-listed by BBC Radio, Daytrotter, and Sirius XM's Coffee House station.
After spending 4 years in Nashville recording her second studio album A History Of Now, the latest chapter of Callaghan's journey has taken her to LA to record her self-titled album, Callaghan. This recording is the collaborative effort of producers Starr Parodi, Jeff Eden Fair (James Bond, Heart of Frida, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible) and Anthony Resta (Elton John, Duran Duran, Blondie) and has garnered wide acclaim.
