BLINDSPOT
BLINDSPOT is a multimedia performance piece comprised of a movement-driven narrative inspired by George Orwells novel 1984, with 5 dancers, live music by Eran Fink, live feed video, and media projections. It examines the current social, political, and economic reality during the Trump Era of the United States. "I would like to share a message through my work that will generate awareness towards current social and political issues. I believe that BLINDSPOT is a timely piece that will resonate with audiences and force them to reckon with what their role is in our society. Will they stand up and demand change, or will they be a passive observer following orders? Furthermore, this message will help audiences to look inside their personal lives and evaluate their relationship with social media platforms and smartphones." - Carmen Caceres
