Who were the famous railroad tycoons of the 19th century? Join Gloria Ciccarone-Nehls, Executive Chef of the famed Big 4 restaurant (a.k.a. the tycoons) in Nob Hill Spa at The Huntington Hotel, for a hands-on class featuring "spa cuisine." Spa cuisine is lighter innovative fare with an emphasis on reducing fat while intensifying flavor and being mindful of portion control. Don't worry thoughyou won't leave this class hungry; instead, you'll feel fully satiated and possess a better understanding of how to combine fresh flavors to create healthful flavor explosions. (By the way, those Big 4 railroad tycoon were C.P Huntington, Charles Crocker, Leland Stanford and Mark Hopkins.)
