The Legend of Zelenka
During the Baroque, Dresden was one of the richest cultural and artistic cities of Europe. It was the home of the highly esteemed Dresden court orchestra, bringing to its city some of the finest musicians of the time. Tesserae presents a program of chamber music written for these famed virtuosos, including music by Zelenka, Fasch, Veracini, Goldberg, and Hasse.
